300 New Zealand Romney Marsh, Coopworth and Perendale wether lambs born and raised at the Whatawhata Hill Country Research Station were shorn in Dec. and Apr., Feb. and Apr., or in Apr. only prior to slaughter in May, and were well or poorly fed between Dec. and May.
