Effect of spacing and fertilizer application on yield and quality of safflower (Carthamus tinctorius L.) variety-N-62-8 (III)

Safflower N-62-8 grown at between-plant spacings of 15, 22.5 and 30 cm in rows 45, 60 or 75 cm apart gave highest seed yields at 45x 15 cm. Seed oil and protein contents increased slightly with increase in spacing.
