Effect of support systems on the seed yield of winged bean varieties, Psophocarpus tetragonolobus (L) DC



Journal of the National Agricultural Society of Ceylon 19: 133-138



Av. seed yields of P. tetragonolobus SLS 47, UPS 122 and UPS 99 were 858, 500 and 354 kg/ha, resp., when grown during Oct.-March 1980-1 at Dodangolla, Sri Lanka. When various support systems were used, significant yield increases over unsupported plants were obtained when using all methods except horizontal trellis.
