Effect of systematic application of fertilizers on properties of a leached chernozem soil of the northern forest steppe zone and crop yields. Communication 1. Crop yields and nutrient uptake

Effect of systematic application of fertilizers on properties of a leached chernozem soil of the northern forest steppe zone and crop yields. Communication 1. Crop yields and nutrient uptake

Agrokhimiya (2): 27-34

In trials with winter rye, barley, oats and peas grown with various fertilizer rates in different 4-course rotations on a leached chernozem soil in Tula region, barley grain yields were highest with PK + 40 kg N/ha in a wet yr and with 80 kg N/ha in a dry yr. Oat grain yields were highest with 40 kg N/ha. The crops lodged with a further increase in N rates.
