Effect of teat number, teat abnormalities and underline length on litter sizes and weights at 21 and 42 days in swine



Journal of Animal Science 57(4): 802-806



Data from 80 purebred and crossbred Duroc and Landrace gilts were analysed. Traits measured included number of teats in front of the navel, number of functional teats, number of inverted and pin teats, length of the underline, and body length and weight at parturition.
