In 1973-5 trials with potato were conducted on brown, slightly acid, clay-sand or clay soils of the Moravian Hills at 460 m alt, with poor P reserve and moderate to good K reserve. Fertilizer treatments of various combinations of 100 or 140 kg N, 62.3 or 87.2 kg P, and 178.5 or 249 kg K/ha were used and all plots were given 35 t FYM/ha.
