Effect of water regime and nitrogen fertilizer on some mineral contents, yield and amino acid contents of garlic plant

Annals of Agricultural Science, Moshtohor 19(1): 149-169

In 3-year trials with the Balady the plants receiving 100-300 kg N/feddan were irrigated when the soil water decreased by 20, 40, 60, 80 or 100%. In all years the yields were greatest (2.7-4.2 t/feddan) on plots receiving the highest N rate and irrigated at 20% moisture depletion.
