Estimates of gene effects for some quantitative characters in Upland cotton (Gossypium hirsutum)



Coton et Fibres Tropicales 38(4): 319-322



The F1, F2 and backcross generations from a cross between LH95 and 32OF were studied for six yield-related and fibre quality characters. Epistasis was observed for every character except halo length. Both additive and dominance effects were observed for every character except number of bolls and lint index.
