Function of the digestive tract, metabolism in, and productivity of, sheep given microbial protein

, : Function of the digestive tract, metabolism in, and productivity of, sheep given microbial protein. 2 Mezhdunarodnyi simpozium po fiziologii pishchevareniya zhvachnykh i ikh produktivnosti, Stara Zagora, 25-27th Nov, 1982: 43

In a feeding trial lasting from December to June, fine-fleeced Caucasian sheep with and without rumen cannulae were used to study the effects of protein from feed yeast grown on ethyl alcohol and from microbial biomass from active silt on rumen microbiological activity, hydrolysis of substances in the abomasum and small intestine, feed intake and digestibility, and wool and meat yield.
