Influence of system of planting, weed control and nitrogen on the growth and yield components and yield of lowland rice (IET 1444)

Plant growth, yield components and paddy yields of rice were not significantly influenced by planting in normal rows and paired rows or with hand weedings and butachlor application; however, they were increased by increases in N rates from 70 to 100 kg/ha.
