Abstract
Containers of UHT milk or milk products are incubated for 7 days at 30 or 55 degrees C. After cleaning the outside of the containers, they are opened and samples are plated onto plate count agar for detection of aerobic microorganisms, and incubated in reinforced clostridial medium for detection of anaerobic microorganisms.
