Energy value, protein, fat and carbohydrate contents of daily diets were estimated in 7 boarding school in 3 seasons of the year during 2 years. In all, 97 diets were studied. The mean energy value of diets was 12.38, range 8.40 to 15.97 MJ. The mean content of protein was 93, range 59 to 139 g and the mean fat content was 101, range 63 to 161 g. The mean percentage of energy from protein was 12.6, from fat 30.6 and carbohydrates 56.3.
