Observations on the dipteran fauna in a focus of dermal leishmaniasis in the State of Minas Gerais. II. The distribution of families in relation to their medical, veterinary and economic importance

, : Observations on the dipteran fauna in a focus of dermal leishmaniasis in the State of Minas Gerais. II. The distribution of families in relation to their medical, veterinary and economic importance. Memorias do Instituto Oswaldo Cruz 78(2): 121-134

Miniature light traps were operated for a period of several months in a focus of cutaneous leishmaniasis in the eastern part of Minas Gerais State, Brazil, to collect phebotomines; other Diptera caught were identified to family level. The traps were placed in 3 different ecotopes: woodland areas, cultivated land and a peridomestic site.
