Miniature light traps were operated for a period of several months in a focus of cutaneous leishmaniasis in the eastern part of Minas Gerais State, Brazil, to collect phebotomines; other Diptera caught were identified to family level. The traps were placed in 3 different ecotopes: woodland areas, cultivated land and a peridomestic site.
