Production costs for wine grapes and economic results in Sicilian viticulture

Descriptions of the three major growing regions, type of vineyard, training systems and cultivars are followed by an account of an economic study. Data are presented on the value of the product, and on investment and management costs, in relation to training form and region. Profits in 1981-82 were highest where the curtain training system was used (in Trapani only).
