Cotton Giza 75 was grown during 1977 and 1978 at N levels of 0, 20, 40, 60 or 80 kg/feddan and irrigated at intervals of 14, 21 or 28 days. Increasing N levels increased seed cotton yield, boll wt., number of fruiting branches/plant, number of bolls/plant, plant ht. and seed index and decreased yield earliness and lint percentage.
