Response of five bean cultivars to increasing rates of N, P2O5 and K2O under field conditions

In field trials in the wet and the dry season at Campinas and Monte Alegre do Sul, 5 Phaseolus vulgaris were given 0:0:0, 20:40:15, 40:80:30 or 60:120:45 kg N:P2O5:K2O/ha; mean seed yields were 1.04, 1.30, 1.46 and 1.66 t/ha, resp. Seed yield was higher at Campinas where there was an interaction fertilizer x season.
