Response of resistant and susceptible soybeans to cropping systems in area infested with cyst nematode



Phytopathology 74(7): 831



Studies over 5 years on soil infested with Heterodera glycines showed that the number of cysts in soil of continuous susceptible 'Forrest' soyabeans was approximately 3 times the cysts in continuous resistant 'Bedford' plots. 5 year continuous Bedford mean seed yield was 550 kg/ha greater than continuous Forrest.
