Queensland Journal of Agricultural and Animal Sciences 39(2): 169-175

During 1973 to 1975 in south-east Queensland, Australia, 3 experiments were performed with young beef cattle grazing fertilized, improved pastures on the wet heath of the wallum country at a stocking rate of 6.25 cows/ha plus calves before weaning and 5 to 10 weaners/ha after weaning in April.
