A paper prepared for the 13th Annual Meeting of the IRG, held in Cesme, Turkey, 24-29 May, 1982. Bacterial type decay was observed in CCA- and PCP-treated eucalypt transmission poles in Queensland, Australia. Detailed observations with the SEM revealed bacterial colonization and decay, especially in fibres.
