Specification for skimmed milk powder/non-fat dried milk

Malaysian Standard (MS 760: 1982): 18

Requirements are specified for dried skim milk, with max. levels of 4% (w/w) for moisture, 1% for milk fat, 0.15% for titratable acidity as lactic acid, 1.25 ml for solubility index, 15 mg for scorched particles (Disc B) and 50 000/g for total viable count. Coliforms should be absent in 0.1 g and phosphatase activity should be equivalent to 4 micro g phenol/ml reconstituted milk.
