Studies on the influence of susceptible and resistant lablab (Lablab purpureus (L.) Sweet) varieties on the physiology of the pod borer, Heliothis armigera (Hubn.)

Compared with feeding on four susceptible ones, feeding on four resistant varieties reduced larval feeding rate, larval weight, pupal weight and adult longevity while increasing the length of the prepupal and pupal periods.
