Abstract
The regrowth of mufuti plants which were mattocked in Jan. 1979 was sprayed with 5 rates of a 1:4 water soluble picloram + 2,4-D amine mixture (Tordon 101), a 1:1 water soluble picloram + 2,4,5-T amine mixture (Tordon 225) or a 1:4 oil soluble picloram + 2,4,5-T ester mixture (Tordon 155) on each of 3 days in May 1979. Tordon 155 was the least effective formulation but none of the treatments gave kill rates more than 13%.
