The role that voluntary farm organizations exert as communication linkages between members, government agencies and private enterprises (a Brazilian case study)

The role that voluntary farm organizations exert as communication linkages between members, government agencies and private enterprises (a Brazilian case study)

Dissertation Abstracts International, A 44(5): p.1232

This study explored the extent to which voluntary farm organizations are able to diffuse relevant agricultural information, integrate services, articulate members' needs and put pressure on government for changes. Brazilian farm unions were selected for the case study. The local farm unions studies played a limited role in diffusing relevant agricultural information to members.
