The social and cultural factors involved in production by small farmers in St. Vincent and the Grenadines of arrowroots and sweet potatoes and their marketing

Reports/Studies, Division for the Study of Development, UNESCO (RRD.6): 105

The paper is one in a series comparing sociocultural factors in food production and marketing by small farmers in the Caribbean and Latin America, using the ethnographic approach. Arrowroot production tends to be carried on alongside other farming or business activities, because of the year taken for the crop to give returns.
