Training of rural community development workers in health education: with special reference to water supply protection and use/maintenance of sanitation facilities

Training of rural community development workers in health education: with special reference to water supply protection and use/maintenance of sanitation facilities

WASH Technical Report, Water and Sanitation for Health Project, USA (3): 11

This report outlines an improved approach, developed with special reference to water supply and sanitation projects, which stresses an active problem solving approach to the training process and the provision of post training support in the field. The report first discusses the competences needed by health workers.
