A multidivisional linear programming model for regional crop planning

Paper, American Society of Agricultural Engineers (85-5004): 18pp

The model was used for planning the crop production system of Yucheng County and its communes, in North China. Results indicate that labour: land ratio greatly influences cropping pattern and disparity between communes is high. Since the aggregated county model ignores differences between communes, its value for commune level planning is limited.
