Allocreadium aswanensis sp.n., a trematode parasite from a freshwater fish (Barbus bynni) from Lake Nasser at Asswan, A.R. Egypt

Allocreadium aswanensis n.sp. is described and illustrated from the intestine of B. bynni from Lake Nasser, Asswan, Egypt. It is characterized by having vitellaria extending to the ovary, relatively small eggs, long oesophagus and 2 tandem testes which are distinctly separated by an intertesticular space.
