An alternative approach to the analysis of competition in binary additive series

, : An alternative approach to the analysis of competition in binary additive series. Beitrage zur Tropischen Landwirtschaft und Veterinarmedizin 24(3): 295-301

In a trial at Vancouver, Canada in 1981, rape Annua, Amaranthus retroflexus and Setaria viridis were each broadcast at 6 densities in pure stands and in binary additive series mixtures with 3 densities of one of the other species as an indicator of competitiveness. Analysis of shoot DM yields using De Wit's spacing formula and Dew's equation gave similar results.
