The arrangement is for use in the packaging of milk. It raises and transports flattened, tubular packing container blanks from a magazine to a conveyor by a carrier device, which comprises a carrier plate supported by a swivelling axis at right-angles to the magazine, and moves along an arc-shaped path of movement between the outlet end of the magazine and the starting end of the conveyor.
