Dissertation Abstracts International, A Humanities and Social Sciences 45(9): p.2945
An econometric model of structural changes in the U.S. potato industry
The US potato industry has experienced dramatic economic changes during the past two decades in both its structural and market equilibrium characteristics, due to both exogenous and endogenous forces. The study develops an econometric model to capture and explain the adjustments noted above, determines the future of the industry, and evaluates the impacts of policy variables on the industry.
