Die aseptische Nekrose im Ligamentum palmare beziehungsweise plantare: 106



Examination of the limbs of 309 slaughtered horses revealed mild lesions in cartilage of the distal sesamoid (navicular) bone in 117, and severe lesions in 47. Aseptic necrosis of the ligaments was found in 79 horses. Radiographic findings are presented.
