Laboratory studies were carried out in India to examine various aspects of the biology of Trioxys indicus, a potential biological control agent of Aphis craccivora. The average fecundity of the aphidiid (based on the numbers of progeny completing their development to the adult stage) was 143/female, being lower in the presence of males. Mean female development lasted 17.8 days and male development 16.5 days.
