Bush fly abundance in an overwintering zone during 1979-82 compared with some data collected before the introduction of exotic dung beetles

Journal of the Australian Entomological Society, 241: 65-68

Recent estimates of the abundance of adults of Musca vetustissima overwintering in southern Queensland were compared with fragmentary data collected before the exotic dung beetle Euoniticellus intermedius (Oniticellus intermedius) became established as a biological control agent (in 1971-74) in the region.
