In a particularly preferred form the product comprises 3000 g butter, 500-600 g cheese (preferably ewes' milk cheese and/or Gorgonzola), 100 g garlic, 240 g herbs (a mixture of parsley, dill and chives), 120 g lemon juice, 70 g Worcester sauce, 120 g schnapps (e.g. aquavit and/or gin), 100 g dried meat bouillon, 30 g ground nutmeg, 250 g sweet cream and 5 g monosodium glutamate.
