CMEA member countries: experiences in planning and providing economic incentives

The article reports on a conference of CMEA member countries in Vilnya (Lithuanian SSR) in May/June 1984 which dealt with agricultural planning and possibilities for creating greater incentives both for farms and their workers. Experiences of new forms of planning were exchanged and principles and methods of planning discussed. The conference dealt in particular detail with the changes in agricultural producer prices which have taken place in nearly all member countries since 1980.
