CO2 gas exchange and dry matter accumulation in radish plants under different light conditions

CO2 gas exchange and dry matter accumulation in radish plants under different light conditions

Fiziologiya i Biokhimiya Kul' turnykh Rastenii 17(1): 88-94

Seedlings of the Krasnyi were grown in 8, 12, 16, 20 or 24 h photoperiods with photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) at 50, 100 or 125 W/msuperscript 2. A direct proportional relationship was found between CO2 exchange balance and dry matter accumulation and between these parameters and the daily dose of PAR energy within 3 to 9 MJ/msuperscript 2.
