CREAMS: a system for evaluating management practices

Agricultural management and water quality: 178-199

The following are discussed: (a) model development, (b) review of models, (c) CREAMS model structure, and (d) application, exemplified by data on (i) hydrology and sediment, nutrient and pesticide losses for a 1.3-ha area from the Georgia piedmont with five simulated cultivation/conservation systems, and (ii) hydrology and sediment yield from the Four Mile Creek small watershed with two management practices simulated, one of which is currently in use on the area.
