Calculation of equilibrium in the heterogeneous system HNOx-H2O-NOx from the composition of the liquid phase



Journal of Applied Chemistry of the USSR 57(4, Pt 2): 849-851



The method of calculation of the equilibrium in the heterogeneous system HNOx-H2O-NOx from the composition of the liquid phase (determined by classical methods) and from the temperature was analyzed. A comparison of experimental data on the equilibrium with the calculated data showed that in the concentration range 0-65% HNOx and the temperature range 283-313 degrees K the error in the determination does not exceed 10 rel. %.
