Cameroon's agriculture

Cameroon's agriculture

Cameroon Geographical Review 5(1): 1-22

Cameroon's agriculture makes the country virtually self sufficient in basic food. Between now and the early 21st century the population will increase from 9 million to 21 million, mainly in urban areas. Present production needs to be doubled, and some subsistence production put on the market. This increase and the accompanying monetization of the rural economy will not be achieved without profound changes.
