Chemical control on malaria vector Anopheles aconitus in Central Java, Indonesia

Detailed results are given of tests in 1976-83 in Central Java, Indonesia, on the chemical control of the main malaria vector there, Anopheles aconitus, which was resistant to DDT and dieldrin. Of the numerous insecticides tested, fenitrothion was found to be the most effective.
