Comparative abundance of the tingid vector Stephanitis typica (Distant) in root (wilt) disease affected and healthy coconut palms in Kerala

Comparative abundance of the tingid vector Stephanitis typica (Distant) in root (wilt) disease affected and healthy coconut palms in Kerala

Vectors and vector borne diseases Proceedings of the All India Symposium Trivandrum / Kerala State / India, February 26-28, 1982: recd 1986; 29-33

The comparative abundance of individuals of Stephanitis typica on healthy coconut palms and those affected with coconut root (wilt) disease was studied in diseased and disease-free areas of Kerala, India, in 1972-74. Tingid populations were generally greater on diseased trees than on healthy ones.
