In a study of varieties suitable for silkworm fodder (4 varieties in summer and additionally the Japanese variety Kinriou in winter), the highest content of the trace elements analysed was found in Zhiatsola 106 and Trakiya 6 during the summer and in Zhiatsola 106 during the autumn. The same ratio of the elements was found in all varieties in summer (Cu < Zn < Mn < Fe) but the ratio was not the same in all varieties in autumn.
