Differences in the prevalence of trematode parthenitae in individuals of Littorina obtusata of different phenotypes

Differences in the prevalence of trematode parthenitae in individuals of Littorina obtusata of different phenotypes

Parazitologiya 20(1): 61-65

Populations of L. obtusata of different phenotypes (distinguished by shell colouring patterns), collected at several sites of the White Sea littoral, USSR, were examined for the presence of trematodes. Parthenitae of 10 species were found. Infection with species that have free-living cercariae was generally low (< 10%).
