Monomeric and polymeric forms of prolactin were found in the blood of 10 lactating and 5 pregnant For kiddings in July, 90.82+or-1.30% of the plasma prolactin (total concentration, 148.3+or-12.7 ng/ml) was in the polymeric form vs. 60.98+or-5.06 for Oct. kiddings (July vs. Oct., P<0.01).
