Different methods for computerized milk collecting systems and possibilities for evaluating them quantitatively

Different methods for computerized milk collecting systems and possibilities for evaluating them quantitatively

Milchwissenschaft 40(1): 27-30

After presenting possible solutions for the routing problem for milk collection of multi-plant dairies a series of heuristic methods is pointed out enabling a solution to this problem of planning system. An aggregation of data within this planning system, as far as it does not concern the criterium of optimization, necessarily cannot exclude a deterioration of the solution quality. Especially for heuristic methods for routing it is not possible to evaluate errors forthcoming by this heuristic, in not-trivial manner.
