Of the 3 unicellular algae cultures exposed to up to 10-8-10-4 M atrazine/l, Kirchneriella lunaris was the most tolerant, Cryptomonas sp. was moderately tolerant and Oocystis was the most susceptible. Atrazine inhibited growth mainly by inhibiting PSII.
