Differentiation of 130 X- and V-Factor independent avian bacterial strains of the Pasteurellaceae family, with reference to recent taxonomic findings

Differentiation of 130 X- and V-Factor independent avian bacterial strains of the Pasteurellaceae family, with reference to recent taxonomic findings

Differenzierung von 130 X und V Faktor unabhangigen aviaren Bakterienstammen der Familie Pasteurellaceae POHL 1981 unter besonderer Berucksichtigung neuer taxonomischer Erkenntnisse: 95

130 strains of bacteria, isolated from poultry, cage birds and wild birds (mainly from the respiratory tract) were assigned to four groups. In group 1, 17 strains were identified as P. multicida (13 subsp. multocida), and 10 as P. gallinarum. Other species identified in this group were P. anatis (2 strains), P. langaa (1) and P. pneumotropica (1).
