Diffuse toxoplasmic retinochoroiditis in a patient with AIDS

Archives of Ophthalmology 104(4): 571-575

A case of diffuse necrotizing retinochoroiditis in the right eye due to toxoplasmosis in an American patient with AIDS is reported. The appearance at initial presentation was similar to the acute retinal necrosis syndrome. Radiological and electron microscopic findings are described in detail and illustrated.
