Digestion in pigs during feeding with exogenous enzymes

For 2 months, Large White pigs of body weight 55 to 57 kg and fitted with cannulae in the small intestine were given a basal diet of 1.5 kg feed mixture, 3 kg potatoes, 150 g clover meal, 10 g bone meal, 10 g NaCl during the first month, and 1.7, 4.0 kg, 200, 10 and 10 g, correspondingly, in the second month. The basal diet was given without or with Amilosubtilin G 3x-1 0.05 and Pektofoetidin P 10x 0.01%. Small intestinal contents were taken once every 3 days for estimation of enzyme activity.
