Dimethipin as a rice maturation agent

Dimethipin as a rice maturation agent

Proceedings, Southern Weed Science Society, 36th annual meeting: 103

At 2 sites, 0.14-0.56 kg dimethipin/ha, applied to rice Labelle at 22-25 or 28-31% grain moisture, had little or no effect on lodging, grain moisture, yield, grain size or milling. Leaf and stem desiccation were increased but not as much as with 0.14 kg paraquat/ha or 5 kg sodium chlorate/ha.
